Please Read: Co-Motion Coworking Facility is Closing
Dale and I have enjoyed working with all the Co-Motion members and all the people who have passed through Co-Motion’s doors since we opened last November. Regretfully, we want you to know that we will be closing down Co-Motion effective December 31, 2013 due to the building being sold.
We have owned the Carbon Place building since 2006. We originally acquired the space to house our growing ecommerce business. As we were selling that business in 2011, we also listed the building for sale. We were unable to sell the building over an 18 month period and decided to open Co-Motion last fall.
Recently, we had a buyer approach us with an offer on the building that we decided we could not refuse. We will be closing on the transaction on December 11th. The new owner has agreed to allow our members to work here through December 31st and all scheduled events on the calendar will be held. We are still open for drop-in days and memberships for the current month of December.
Operations at Co-Motion will remain the same as they always have been and Cynthia will be working regular hours and maintaining the facility and the event calendar for the entire month.
We are still fully committed to the coworking concept and will be looking for a new space in town to work ourselves. Please visit the Spaces website for information about other coworking spaces: http://bouldercoworking.org/
Feel free to check in with us on any questions you may have – Cynthia and Dale

Office space in Boulder is very expensive for individuals or startups. Co-Motion offers shared office space that is affordable and flexible as your needs change. Our memberships are month to month. We do not require long term commitments like you find in executive suites or commercial office spaces.
Coworking encourages collaboration, co-creation, and communication between diverse business professionals by breaking down the walls (literally) and encouraging people to work and socialize together. We offer events to further your business acumen as well as social events to encourage new friendships.
Members at Co-Motion can choose a permanent desk or simply drop in and work in any of the many virtual work areas in our office. You can use our lounge area for a casual conversation then wander over to our many white boards to sketch out a design or concept. Our large conference room is perfect for client or board meetings. If you host a large group, our meetup room will accommodate 20-40 people depending on the setup. Did we mention our free coffee, including lattes and espresso drinks? We hope you will check out coworking here at Co-Motion!
